RED BULL HILL CHASERS: MALAYSIA’S UPHILL BIKE CHALLENGE
Enthusiasts take on the pros at Red Bull Hill Chasers! The event will transform a street in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia into a race track on 15 December as 32 cyclists come together in an attempt to settle the fierce debate of which bike discipline is best uphill.
Red Bull Hill Chasers invites bike enthusiasts to battle the pros in this one of a kind competition.
This December 15, Red Bull Blue & Silver (Product of Europe) will bring one busy road of Kuala Lumpur to a standstill, where 16 elite level bike athletes and 16 bike enthusiasts from BMX, mountain bike, road cycling and fixed-gear compete in a series of grueling head-to-head knockout rounds on the unforgiving incline.
Riders will be paired randomly giving aspirant riders the chance to compete head to head against the 16 invited elite. The enthusiasts will be made up of the fastest 16 riders from a qualifier, open to anyone, held from 3 to 6 pm on the day of the event. A knockout format will halve the field – until just two riders remain for the ultimate showdown.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The competition which was first held in Bristol, UK have seen the likes of high profile UK riders like Red Bull athlete Danny MacAskill of “Way Back Home” fame, Chris Akrigg (six-times Britain National Bike Trial Champion), Richard Cunynghame (World Cup 4X MTB rider) and champion MTB Enduro rider Rob Lee.
QUALIFYING ROUND
A qualifying round will be held between 3pm and 6pm on the 15th Dec. The fastest 16 riders will be notified by text of their place at Red Bull Hill Chasers. For your chance to compete against the elite as one of the 16 amateur riders complete, the registration form below and just turn up for the qualifier with your bike ready to ride!

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For your chance to compete against some of the top cyclists in the world and become Red Bull Hill Chasers Champion, come to the qualifier on the morning of the event. Register by completing the application form on the bottom of this page.
The qualifier, open to anyone, will be held from 3pm till 6pm on the day of the event (15th Dec). Come ready to ride!
If you are under 18 you will need a parent to complete a disclaimer for you.
The fastest 16 riders will be contacted by text to confirm their place at Red Bull Hill Chasers. We will be in touch by text to let you know if you have qualified and also to provide further details on the event.
