Art Of Speed 2023 BMX Street Competition

This year Art Of Speed is back with BMX Street Jam to be part of the event.

We will be at Hall D, Lower Ground level (together with all the food stalls / food trucks area)

Competition is open to all riders. No cetegory.

We will do a Street Best Line competition.

3 Obstacle to hit in a line.

2nd – RM800
3rd – RM600
4th – RM400
5th – RM200

SCHEDULE :

12pm – 2pm : OPEN PRACTICE & REGISTRATION
2pm – 2.30pm : CENDERAWASIH VIDEO SCREENING ; ANTO LEYSA VIDEO PART
2.30pm – 3.30pm : OFFICIAL PRACTICE BY GROUP
3.30pm – 5.00pm : BMX STREET BEST LINE COMPETITION

5pm – 6pm : BMX STREET BEST TRICK
6pm: PRIZE GIVING


Entrance to the Park / Competition area is FREE. No ticket is required. But to enter AOS show car hall you will need to buy the ticket.

Fly High

In conjunction with Art Of Speed 2018, with the support of Vans Malaysia we will be organising a ‘Fly High’ BMX competition at MAEPS, Serdang this coming 29th July 2018 (Sunday) from 12pm – 6pm. This will be the first competition for riders to collect TIC points for 2018 season. Let’s go!!!

There will be 2 competition happening that day, Best Trick Jumpbox and Best Trick Grind on Car.

Best Trick Jumpbox Prizes

1st – RM500
2nd – RM400
3rd – RM300
4th – RM200
5th – RM100

Grind Bandit Report

Grind Bandit in conjunction with Art Of Speed 2017 was held successfully at MAEPS, Serdang, Selangor last weekend. With support from Vans Malaysia, we manage to create a nice event that everybody can participate and have fun together. This is also the first competition to include Twenty Inch Cup point for 2017 season.

 

We did a bunnyhop contest and a flatland jam on Saturday and a best trick grind ledge contest on Sunday. The crowd was very supportive event under hot sun and rain for few minutes. Ammar Shukri manage to win the Bunnyhop Contest with 37inch high of bunnyhop jump and Rudianto Mazlan had won over a very tight battle with Nurhazme at the Flatland Jam with Mat Dagu session. Both of them manage to bring back the Vans X Trasher limited edition shoe.

 

Sunday was the main event, the Grind Bandit best trick grind ledge competition was held with 15 participant. Everybody was pumpin’ to do their best trick on that freshly made A-Frame grind box. It was won by Shami, followed by Syafiq and third place goes to Aan.

Grind Bandit

Grind Bandit is a BMX Street Best Trick competition that will be happening at the Art Of Speed this weekend (29 & 30 July) located at MAEPS, Serdang.

This will also be the first competition to include Twenty Inch Cup point for BMX Street/Park ranking system.
So dont missed it.

Art Of Speed BMX Street Competition is one of the best competition for 2016. Nice street park (made by The Rampmaster) , good event vibe, beautiful location and great crowd ; those are what we need for an event. Thanks to Vans Malaysia who made this happen.

Good to see those street riders killin the course with those technical tricks. We can see some new riders that did pretty well at the competition, especially Yan Kluang. You need to keep eye on this boy, he improve pretty fast. Syafiq and Shami made a pretty tight run win many switch and combo tricks.
